Clinique Dentaire B. Fabre et Associés, Place Royal Lepage, 1501 de l'Hotel-de-Ville, St-Bruno, QC
Throughout the years, we have identified and added high-tech devices to our "dental toolbox" to help us make better diagnosis earlier and treat you more efficiently.

E4D CAD/CAM: 3D imagery and crowns in 1 appointment

In one appointment only, thanks to this technology, your dentist can now design and manufacture fixed porcelain restorations (crowns, onlays and inlays) that perfectly fit your mouth. E4D allows us to generally preserve more of your tooth when we design a restoration, keeping more of its natural structure and strength.

After preparing your tooth for the restoration, your dentist will use E4D for:
  • prepare a 3D map of the area surrounding the tooth to repair, using E4D's laser camera,
  • design the restoration and validate its morphology and its position in your mouth, using the E4D Dentist computer software, and
  • mill the restoration in a porcelain block in the automated milling center, E4D Mill.

Laser-detection of cavities: treat them ASAP

With this non-invasive technology, we can detect very small cavities, as soon as they appear; these would otherwise be invisible, using traditional investigation techniques. Laser-detection is totally pain free: a laser pen scrutinizes your teeth and emits a sound when it finds a cavity. The Diagnodent, that's out tool's name, allow us to identify cavities much earlier, leading to much smaller restorations.

Micro air abrasion: smaller fillings and stronger teeth

This tool is the natural complement of laser-detection of cavities. Once a small cavity has been identified, micro air abrasion is used to remove it, using a powerful and very precise jet of air and particles. With micro-air abrasion, the area is narrower than with traditional drilling methods. Bottom line, this leads in many cases to a pain-free treatment (you may not even require an anesthsia), less tooth removal and, consequently a much stronger tooth.

Digital imaging: less radiations, more close-up details

We are proud to have been among the first clinics in Canada to use the XDR dental imaging technology, one of the simplest, yet most sophisticated available. Our digital imaging toolbox contains:
  • digital intra-oral cameras for close-up teeth photography,
  • digital X-rays sensors, necessitating 40% to 80% less radiation than regular ones,
  • the XDR imaging software, that uses expert image and x-ray analysis algorithms to help us in our diagnosis.

Sterilization: controlled and certified

All the dental instruments are carefully cleaned and sterilized in our Stericentre, which is regularly controlled and certified by an independent laboratory. Our employees wear surgical gloves and masks. Our imaging equipment is also wrapped in a sterile pocket, discarded after each patient.

Computer network

Each operatory is equipped with its own computer and two monitors (including one in front of your chair). These computers are networked so that your file and x-rays are easily available to our dentists and hygienists, including the latest updates (e.g. new x-ray, clinical entry, etc.). This network gives you also access to education videos as well as recreative ones.
